ICMSMCI-2022

The objective of the conference is to provide a platform for the academicians, industrialists, researchers, and those who are with passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) from various parts of the globe for sharing their knowledge, innovations and thoughts of multidisciplinary approaches related to day-to-day challenges.

The conference is the premier forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of Neural Networks, Fuzzy Set Theory, Coding Theory, Stochastic analysis, Graph theory, Computation in Complex Networks, Calculus, differential equations and integration, Application of Soft Computing, Knowledge Engineering, and Machine Learning. It also provides the authors, research scholars, listeners with opportunities for National and International collaboration and networking among universities and institutions for promoting research and developing the technologies globally. This conference aims to promote translation of basic research into institutional and industrial research and convert applied investigation into real-time application.

KCT

Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) is an autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. KCT was established in 1984 under the auspices of Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation and the guiding spirit of Arutchelvar Dr.N. Mahalingam, Founding Chairman of Sakthi Group. Under the able guidance and patronage of Dr.B.K.Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman, Shri. M.Balasubramaniam, Correspondent, and Shri. Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, the institution is instilled with excellent infrastructure facilities offering higher education to young engineering aspirants. KCT offers 15 Under Graduate and 14 Post Graduate programmes with relevant approved Research Centres. More than 6000 students are imparted with quality technical education by a dedicated team of qualified and experienced faculty members.

About the Department

The Department of Mathematics started in the year 1984 with a vision to provide essential skillset and knowledge about engineering and technology to aspiring first year engineering students. The department actively supports the Engineering departments in teaching and research. Courses of interest: Subject Specific Courses, One Credit Courses and Minor Specialization Courses are being offered by the department for various B.E / B.Tech and M.E./ M.Tech. Programmes. All the courses are embedded with various softwares. The syllabi and curriculum are designed to meet the requirements and current trends of all the Engineering departments. The department has an exclusive MATHEMATICS laboratory which is equipped with various softwares like MATLAB, R, TORA, Python. The department is an Approved Research Centre by Anna University, Chennai. It has diverse faculty members with various specializations which includes Neural Networks, Stability Analysis, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, Graph Theory, Topology. The department aims to develop into a Centre for Excellence in Mathematical Modelling and Data Analytics to impart research and consultancy services to academia and industry. Special classes for GATE aspirants and remedial classes for bloomers and lateral entry students are conducted on a regular basis.

POSTER PRESENTATION

Poster sessions are a valuable method for authors to present summary findings and engage with attendees for in-depth technical discussions. It is important that you display your results clearly to attract people who have an interest in your work. Poster presenters are responsible for the creation of their poster. Only listed authors may be presenters.

Abstract Preparation Guidelines

An Abstract of between 300-400 words (plus between 2-5 references to support the evidence -base of the abstract content). (Any abstract that exceeds the required word count will not enter the review process). Abstract is required to include details of either research, development and/or innovation, with sufficient information to enable the review panel to decide on appropriateness for poster presentation in theme and context of conference. (Any research reported MUST have commenced at the time of the abstract submission). Abstracts should state briefly and clearly the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions/discussions of the work.

Poster Content

Make sure that the specific sections (such as the background, methods, results, and conclusions) are easy to locate in the poster.

Illustrations

They are the most important part of the poster and will attract the most attention. Colourful charts and graphs are the easiest to read. Explanatory illustrations should be used instead of text whenever possible. Use only static images and do not embed any videos or animation in your poster. Try to utilize the space on your poster as creatively as you can to attract the audience and make sure that the images are easy to understand.

Submission Requirements
Offline

The poster format must follow the following guidelines:

Poster size is selected by you.The size should be appropriate to convey your work. Common sizes include A0, A1, 2 x 3 feet, and 3 x 4 feet. Your poster should cover the key points of your work. Provide a brief overview of your work The title of your poster should appear at the top in CAPITAL letters, should be same as abstract title. The author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) are put below the title. Make your poster as self-explanatory as possible. Place your POSTER ID on the top right corner of the poster. Use color to highlight and make your poster more attractive. Use diagrams, figures, tables, pictures, etc., rather than only text wherever possible. To maintain poster quality, posters printed on paper should be rolled and not folded for transportation.

Virtual

Poster must be submitted in PDF format. It is recommended to make your poster in PowerPoint (Landscape or Portrait) and then save it as a PDF and send it to below email id. Make sure that you do not exceed the limit of 5 PPT slides for your E-Poster. The top of the Poster should display, in the lettering of 18 Bold (Times New Roman), the following information: Title of your Poster, Name(s) of the Author(s) and Affiliation(s). Place your POSTER ID on the top right corner of the poster. Kindly use both UPPER and lower case letters for general content, as all-capital text is difficult to read. It is recommended to use 14 Times New Roman font style for the content of the poster. Total presentation time allotted for each poster shall be 7 minutes followed by Q&A session.
